At the end of Chen and the beginning of Si, a group of strange people came to the Yulan River outside Cangwu City.
There were five of them, but they only rode two horses. On one horse were two strange men with veils covering their heads and faces; on the other was an ugly man with half his face covered with red spots and moles; and two other men were walking below, leading the horses, and they were all very handsome. The one wearing a black cloak had a noble temperament, and the one wearing a Taoist robe had a natural peach blossom appearance, and the way he looked around always seemed to be seducing people.
Such a combination naturally attracted the attention of many pedestrians, but those who had to travel so early were poor men busy making a living and had no time to care about other people's affairs.
Taoist Master Shao observed the surrounding terrain on the map, and from time to time he looked up at the toy-sized city in the distance, and said to Yuan Muxing: "It's less than three miles away to the Cangwujin Ferry. Then we will charter a boat to the south..."
As he was talking, he looked up and saw many men in short clothes wearing the character "brave" gathered near the dock. They set up wooden fences in front of the ferry and strictly checked the passers-by against the portraits. There were also soldiers wearing silver helmets and shining armor, with long swords on their waists, patrolling on horseback and monitoring the passers-by.
