Aunt Mei walked into the courtyard holding a tray. Seeing Oliver Bai coming out, she smiled and said, "Are you hungry? Would you like something to eat?"
Oliver Bai saw that Aunt Mei brought the kumquat red bean paste that he had just mentioned. He didn't like sweet things, but the cat liked it. Aunt Mei put the tray on the table, sat down and served him a small bowl of red bean paste. Oliver Bai took a look and saw that it was indeed sieved very finely, which must have taken a lot of effort.
Oliver Bai took the bowl and tasted it. It was indeed delicious, but he couldn't help but sigh. It was so sweet. He was most afraid of this kind of sweetness. Seeing Aunt Mei watching, he asked, "You don't want to eat it?"
"Hmm?" Aunt Mei seemed to be in a daze, not really concentrating.
Oliver Bai looked at her, reached out for a bowl and served her one as well.
