Why did Ethan Yan know what Mengkou Shiye was thinking?
Because Ethan Yan once took care of Mengkou Shiye.
One of the tasks that every disciple of Tianyan Sect cannot avoid is to take care of Mengkou Shiye. This has a lot to do with the disciple's cultivation and qualifications. The better the qualifications and the more likely they are to become the next leader, the more they must get along with Mengkou Shiye.
