He had long known that this incident would be a thorn between him and Gabriel, but he had not expected that this thorn would prick him and Gabriel so early. He rubbed his hands together, looking very embarrassed, and sighed softly.
This gentle sigh was like a gust of wind, carrying snow particles, and it brought the chill into Gabriel's chest.
For a moment, Gabriel regretted asking so bluntly and hastily. Perhaps the pain he had suffered during the past three days had made him less aggressive. Otherwise, why would he be so intolerable?
But once the question was asked, it was like water spilled, and Gabriel couldn't take it back.
Both sides were silent for a long time. Vivian lowered his head and asked Gabriel: "Do you really want to hear it?"
