Vivian was not in good health, so he liked to sleep more in the winter and took a long nap. When he got up, he found that the Handan yard was filled with footsteps and conversations, which was too noisy compared to usual days.

He went out wrapped in his cloak and asked Nathaniel and the others, "Why is there such a big commotion outside?"
