Ethan felt as if his head was a drum that was about to be smashed. Whenever he thought about something, it would throb and hurt as if it was about to explode. He could only rely on his instinct to ask the most important question first: "How is Theo?"
"Theo was injured." Quinn replied distressedly, "He is resting now."
As he spoke, he sensibly took out a handful of small stones wrapped in colored glass paper from his arms, reached out to touch Ethan's hair, and comforted him: "Here's some candy for you. Don't worry." His movements and expression were like a big brother who was the king of children.
Ethan grabbed two of them without hesitation, put one in his arms, peeled the other and put it under his tongue, and asked vaguely: "Where's Marcus?"
Quinn: "Also sleeping."
