In the small car, the three people seemed peaceful on the surface, but in fact they each had unspeakable worries.
The street outside the palace is still as lively as ever. Even though it is already winter and the cold wind is blowing, it cannot stop passers-by from shopping. Finn ate a bowl of hot wontons on the side of the road and walked down the street with a warm belly. He was holding a bunch of candied haws in his hand, but this time the person behind him was Nathan.
Nathan was holding various paper packages in his hands, his eyes always lingering on Finn, never leaving him for a moment. Since he was leaving the palace incognito this time, and Finn didn't like too many people behind him, Nathan accompanied him alone and did not let any attendants follow him.
Passing by the last clay figurine stall, Finn stopped.
"Like it?" Nathan followed his gaze and her eyes softened, as if she remembered something: "Want to pinch one?"
