Caleb's hands were tied behind his back, his head was down, and his hair on both sides covered his face. Hearing this, he glanced at Brandon out of the corner of his eye.

They had been waiting for Brandon's move these days. Brandon's kidnapping was unexpected but reasonable. Presumably, his men had already disguised themselves as members of the Dark Gate and were lying in ambush outside the Sha Family Castle. They would just wait for Jasper to chase the kidnappers away, then rush into the Sha Family Castle and kill the entire family.
Unfortunately, they were well prepared.
No matter how many plans Brandon has, they will all be in vain.
