After Chu Qing left, Victor slept soundly for another hour. After waking up, he felt like vomiting and couldn't eat anything. After much persuasion, Lily finally stopped trying to persuade him to eat. However, she secretly wiped away countless tears behind his back.

I guess I slept for too long. When I woke up late at night, I was not sleepy at all. There were only a few lights outside the tent, and the palace maid guarding the gate was also secretly dozing off.

Victor got up quietly without disturbing Lily who was dozing off nearby. He changed his clothes, hesitated for a moment, put on a robe, then lifted the door of the tent and looked outside secretly.

The night in late autumn was as cool as water. A gust of cold wind blew by, dispersing some of the decadent fragrance and warmth in the tent, and also sobering up Victor a lot.

He carefully paid attention to several guarded points, then turned around to look at Lily who was unaware that he had stood up, and while the eunuchs and guards at the gate were not paying attention, he dodged and sneaked out.
