Lucas's mentality was that of a man who had experienced many battles. He regarded this opportunity as a break in the middle of a mission. During the time he got out of bed, he looked around the area where he could move, but there was nothing handy. Adrian was also very thoughtful, and even the most tricky angles were processed, leaving no opportunity for Lucas to take advantage of.
