Ignoring the cold sweat on his back, Lucas threw himself onto the bed, staring at the moldy ceiling above his head with empty eyes. It seemed that was not an accident. Now, for him, except for Adrian's pheromones, no one else could even help him relieve the pain.

He sat by the bed like this for the whole night. It was not until dawn that Lucas changed to another room and fell into a deep sleep. During the night, an unknown phone call came several times, but because he was so soundly asleep, he did not answer any of them.
When he woke up, it was already afternoon. Lucas looked at the missed calls on his phone, and his eyes dimmed. He then realized that his reaction speed was not as good as before, and he did not hear a single call from the phone placed next to his ear.
