The drip lasted until the early morning. Archer Lu woke up slowly and found himself in someone's arms, with his back pressed tightly against a warm chest. The strong heartbeats were like life force injected into his body, making him feel at ease.
Li Sui noticed that he was about to wake up, so he gently loosened his arms and moved his body back.
Feeling the temperature leaving his body, Archer Lu frowned and reflexively reached out to stop Li Sui when he stood up. This subconscious move startled both of them.
It was just dawn and the room was still dark. The two looked at each other for a long time, both silent. Li Sui didn't know how much Archer Lu remembered about last night, so he obediently returned to the quilt, hugged him from behind, and comforted him softly: "Go to sleep, I won't leave."
The hangover and the effects of the drugs made Archer Lu suffer from an unbearable headache. He leaned his head on Li Sui's arm and gasped in pain. Li Sui felt so distressed that he wished he could share his pain. He bent down to K!ss him and gave him a careful massage to relieve his pain.
