The Gan Jiang and Mo Ye swords are a pair of husband and wife swords forged by a famous swordsmith from the State of Wu during the Spring and Autumn Period in China.
The two swords projected by Archer and his friends were not actually the authentic ones that were passed down in history. Shirou Emiya had never seen the true appearance of "Gan Jiang Moye", but obtained the information about "Gan Jiang Moye" through some channel.
The Heroic Spirit Emiya used the information he received and added his own imagination to complete it, forming the twin swords "Gan Jiang and Mo Ye" in his hands today.
In other words, these two black and white swords are a treasure that belongs exclusively to Shirou Emiya.
Oh, and there’s also Emiya Shirou’s various Heroic Spirit forms.
