Before Ethan Lu closed his eyes, the sound of Gabriel Xiao typing on the keyboard was still ringing in his ears.
It was dawn the next day.
When he woke up, the sound of the keyboard had stopped, and the only thing left in the room was the fan whirring and shaking its head on the bedside.
Ethan Lu's eyelids just opened a crack and closed them again.
He raised his hands to cover his eyes with his palms, lay down on the bed for a few seconds, and planned to get up and wash up, but as soon as he stretched out his arms, his hand touched a piece of warmth.
