"Professor Yan Qing, an unidentified person just broke into the Third Research Center and has now escaped the robot guards and is hiding in this building! Please leave the laboratory immediately and accept our protection!"
The door of the observation room of the Mermaid Research Center was suddenly pushed open, and a team of men in police uniforms rushed in, saluted the researcher sitting in front of the monitor, and asked him to leave temporarily until the intruder was found. The researcher stood still, his hands steadily moving across the panel, pressing buttons to adjust the water temperature, nutrients and oxygen content, while switching different angles to observe the scene in the water, seemingly not hearing what the group of people were saying at all.
The middle-aged captain of the guard team frowned and urged anxiously, "You are the best experimenter in the research center. We have been ordered to protect you. Please don't be so uncooperative. The intruder is very dangerous. He was not injured at all under the full-force attack of forty machine guards. He is still lurking in the center. Maybe he came here to kidnap you and other researchers!"
Yan Qing pushed up his half-framed glasses, his sharp eyes flashed through them, his mouth pursed into an unkind straight line, and he said coldly: "This has nothing to do with my job. You can investigate as you wish, but the mermaids in the Third Center have just been transformed and are very fragile. No one can leave my observation room."
The guards were ordered to protect him, and they couldn't take him out by force. What's more, what he said was indeed reasonable - many of the mermaids in the third center were specially trained for nobles, and they couldn't be held responsible if any of them had problems. The captain had no choice but to go to the corridor to talk to his boss and tell him about his dilemma.
