Because of the small quarrel in the morning, everyone ate breakfast very quietly this morning. As soon as breakfast was over, Ava Lin started to collect everyone's plates and did not give Julian Mei a chance to wash the dishes.
Julian Mei and Lucas Xia sat on the sofa in the living room for a while. Then, encouraged by Lucas Xia, Julian Mei stood up and walked to the kitchen. She came to Ava Lin and helped him wash the dishes.
"It's just a few dishes, why do you have to wash them all together?"
Ava Lin was washing the dishes while passing the plate to Julian Mei. Julian Mei took the bowl and pulled Ava Lin's hand. "Washing dishes frequently hurts my hands. I feel bad. Let's buy a dishwasher!"
"I'm not used to that kind of stuff."
