The biological clock of someone who just finished an exam is still on. On the second day after the college entrance examination, it was still dark when Edward woke up to the whispering sound of the air conditioner. He propped himself up halfway before he remembered that it was summer vacation. He fell back down with a "bang", feeling a little unreal. He checked the door lock over and over in his mind three times, as if he had obsessive-compulsive disorder. He was sure that he really didn't need to get up early, and then he closed his eyes tremblingly.

Owen next door felt even less real than him. He seemed to be sleepwalking the whole night last night and didn't know when he fell asleep. But he wasn't sleepy either. He was as energetic as if he had taken drugs.

The college entrance examination is over, but Owen has not had a holiday yet. He stayed for the whole weekend and had to rush back to school early on Monday morning.

Owen got himself ready in excessive excitement, then went out to buy breakfast and put it in the microwave. He lingered on the second floor for a while, and when he saw that Edward had no intention of getting up, he finally couldn't hold it in any longer, and ran to knock on the door in an annoying manner, causing trouble for Edward.

Edward had just defeated his biological clock and fell into a daze. He got up half asleep and half awake, leaned towards the door wrapped in the cold wind in the room, waiting for Owen to speak.
