Nathan rushed over to help, shouting and yelling. Owen's eyes sank slightly, and he finally let go.
Edward was too embarrassed to look back. He directed the half-drunk Nathan to carry the drunk Ryan to the car. Then he grabbed a handful of his hair and turned around to ask the silent Owen: "Should I give you a ride or do you want to take a taxi?"
Owen picked up his coat, stepped back to a safe distance, and said modestly, "It's all right."
Edward was stunned. He didn't expect that after not seeing him for so many years, Owen had actually learned to "casually let you put yourself in the dilemma".
Edward looked down at his toes and said, "It's too late. I'll take you there."
