Liam went forward to take a look and saw that the man had his eyes closed. He didn't know whether he was dead or alive. His face was bruised and swollen, and he was afraid that his father might not recognize him.
"It's Naxi Ci." The secret guard explained.
As soon as this was said, the others gasped and gathered around to take a closer look: "Why did Naxici fall into the hands of Zhuiying Palace?"
"Chu Xiang wanted to kill him, but the palace master saved him." The secret guard said, "I think he should still be of some use, so he ordered us to wait for the emperor here."
"Chu Xiang wants to kill Naxici?" Liam was quite surprised. "According to his character, even if he is just a puppet, he should be kept alive."
