Inside the East Palace, Liam sat behind a desk, flipping through a pile of books in front of him. These were brought back by the guards when they left the palace. They contained interesting folk stories and anecdotes, which were quite interesting to read.
After noon, the temperature became a little hot and humid. Si Xi pushed the door open and took a peek, then asked cautiously, "Prince, would you like some desserts to cool us down?"
"No." Liam dropped the book. "My father is going to host a banquet for the King of Southwest today. Shouldn't it start now?"
"It started half an hour ago." Si Xi said, "The King of Goryeo is here too, and he brought dancers with him to liven up the atmosphere. I heard it was quite lively. The Emperor just sent someone to tell him that if the Crown Prince feels better, he can come along as well."
Liam curled his lips: "I'm not going."
