The deserted city was completely destroyed, as if it had been hit by the strongest earthquake.

A huge crack runs from east to west, and the gushing river water has destroyed nearly half of the city. The sound of water roars, and the crack is still widening and spreading. Everything in front of you can easily give people an illusion that the kingdom of death has opened its doors and invited all living things in the world to move in.

Mia knelt on the ground, chanting witch prayers. The girls and the craftsmen and their grandchildren looked at Jasper Caldwell and Rowan Hawthorne as if they had seen gods.

The knights knelt on one knee on the ground. It was hard to describe their expressions at the moment with one word: horror, surprise, or submission?

In the golden light, Jasper Caldwell frowned. Rebuilding the deserted city was a problem, but the red lizard skeleton hidden underground, the copper plates and parchment scrolls in the secret room made him more worried. Would the secret room be submerged by the gushing water from the dark river? Would the copper plates and parchment scrolls be washed away by the current? Jasper Caldwell could not guarantee it. For now, the only way was to let the river recede as soon as possible and find a way to stop the ground cracking to confirm the true situation.
