As teams participating in the festival arrived one after another and settled in the city, the Witch City became more and more lively.
The herdsmen from the east, the sea dwellers from the south, the merchants from the north, and the barbarians from the west gathered in the same city, as if returning to the imperial era. The herdsmen and the barbarians passed by each other, the sea dwellers bargained in front of the merchants' stalls, the children in different robes and with colorful rings around their necks played ancient games, and the girls' clear laughter sounded like music playing by the river.
The aroma of food wafts through the air. The sturdy barbarians have built a bonfire for barbecue. The herdsmen have stacked up pancakes with the tempting wheat aroma. In front of the fruit stalls, the stall owners are shouting hard. Cutting open a watermelon freshly picked from the oasis outside the city, the sweet smell makes one's mouth water.
Jasper Caldwell stood on the terrace high above the temple, leaning on the railing with both hands and closing his eyes. Even though he couldn't see it with his own eyes, he could still clearly picture in his mind everything that was happening in the city.
More orchestras were stationed in the city. Dancers from different regions danced enchantingly to the crescent moon and the sound of drums. The thin chains around their waists danced with light gauze, and their bare feet stepped on the bright blankets. They were light and agile, and their charming and seductive manner made people stop.
