Josh changed her hand to hold the umbrella, tilted it towards her, and rudely hit her umbrella with the tip, "Who is that girl in the bar? Where is she from? You should know better than me. You are teasing her. Can you take responsibility?"

Her surname is Xing. Even they cannot marry into the Xing family, which is a family with only one daughter, a little princess.

If she wants to be responsible, she has to take on everything.

Harper shrugged and said indifferently: "I'm acting. Her childhood sweetheart is in our bar. I come here every day to keep an eye on her. I'm just being kind-hearted and just being a tool for her."

Josh didn't believe it. It wasn't that she didn't believe Harper, but she didn't try to find out. She just told the truth: "You lied to her that you were schoolmates. Do you think she would believe it?"

Harper retorted.

"What? She made that up herself."

"She had a fight with her family and probably ran out of pocket money, so she came to the bar. I didn't want to accept her, but she insisted on coming, saying it was a hobby."

So how could she refuse to honor him?

Josh thought about it and nodded, "You are a very nice person then."

Harper was a little confused. It sounded strange that she suddenly praised herself.

An electric bike passed by slowly. Harper stepped aside and looked around. She realized something was wrong and asked, "Where are you going?"

Josh: "Go back and sleep."

Harper pulled the corner of his mouth, with an indescribable expression on his face, "You're a fool, you've taken the wrong road..."

How could he lead her so confidently when she didn't know the road? Harper was speechless.

Josh is a little bit directionally challenged, but it’s not serious.

After all these years, she is still so insensitive to directions. No wonder it took her more than ten minutes to walk to the underground parking lot at the airport. Oh...

After many twists and turns, she returned to Harper's place, a well-decorated duplex loft with a living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom on the first floor. There were two rooms upstairs, one for her and one for Harper. The house was neither big nor small, and it was just the two of them who lived there.

Josh walked into her room. There was a large floor-to-ceiling window inside. It was raining and looking out, the atmosphere was very nice. She walked over to close the curtains and went into the bathroom to change into her pajamas.

Harper generously gave her a room with an indoor bathroom, because she didn't live here for long and only came here once or twice every two weeks.

Josh changed into her pajamas and came out. She didn't plan to go to bed right away. After meeting Olivia, she didn't feel sleepy at all.

Harper was lying on the sofa in the living room. When she heard the noise of someone coming downstairs, her eyes slowly moved from the screen of her mobile phone to Josh's snow-white ice silk suspender pajamas. She smacked her lips, and the next second she immediately lay on her back and stretched out her hand to her, but her hand was slapped away halfway through.

"Tsk tsk tsk, what a great body, but she just won't let me touch it." Harper rubbed the back of his hand shamelessly, moved his B*tt to make some room for Josh, and held a bag of potato chips in his hand.

After tearing it open, he handed it to her and asked, "Aren't you sleeping?"

"No." Josh sat down next to her and took the potato chips she handed over. "So why don't you leave?"

Harper sat up straight and looked at her in disbelief, "Do you still have the heart? Are you just waiting for me to leave?"

Josh paused in putting the potato chips into her mouth and glanced at her. She didn't know who it was but kept saying that he wanted to return the umbrella on the way back. It was almost time to get off work and the person was waiting for her to return the umbrella.

Seeing that Josh ignored her, Harper moved closer to her and said in a pretentious manner: "Am I so annoying? You can't sit with me."

Josh nodded and said coldly, "Yes."

As he spoke, he reached out and pushed her away, pretending to be very cooperative.

Harper groaned, sat up straight, took a pillow and hugged it, and said in a more serious manner, "I'll return the umbrella next time. Someone else has taken it, so I won't leave and just get in your way."

Josh: "So the purpose of you two acting out this drama is to make the girl jealous. And you just happened to take her umbrella away, which gave them another opportunity."

Harper nodded heavily. He was such a competent tool and there was nothing wrong with him.

"There's nothing wrong with your analysis. I'm such a nice person."

Josh raised an eyebrow, still feeling something was wrong, and asked nosyly: "So who is her childhood sweetheart?"

Harper blinked, thought carefully about the other person's face, and shook his head: "I don't know him. He follows her here every day and sits in the bar without a smile. When she gets off work, he leaves with her. He looks quite serious."

Josh stared at Harper without saying a word. After two seconds of silence, he said, "What you described is the same as a bodyguard."

Who in their right mind would go to a bar every day and sit there all day doing nothing?

She thought about it and reminded, "I think you are the one being played."

This sentence confused Harper, and her brain stopped working for two seconds. She frowned, and when she thought back, she felt a little cheated, being touched and hugged.

Depend on...

She moved her neck stiffly, and said tentatively with a lucky tone: "It shouldn't be that serious..."

They are six or seven years apart in age, their family backgrounds are not comparable, and they have nothing in common. How could someone like me? Harper pondered for a moment, touched her face and said narcissistically: "If it's true, then she is attracted by my pretty face?"

The quiet person next to him touched his face in the same way, and suddenly asked inexplicably: "What does my face look like? Is it pretty?"

Harper was stunned, then realized what she was asking and said speechlessly: "Don't you know what's going on?"

It seemed like she had forgotten how many people asked her for her contact information when she walked on the street. Fortunately, she was not bad, otherwise she would be jealous of this face.

Josh hummed in a gentle voice and said, "I don't know. You tell me."

Harper: "Don't be too pushy..."

Josh let Harper go only after she had said all the words of praise in her mind.

She nodded to herself, holding up her phone to take a picture of herself, "Not bad."

Harper's mouth twitched, and she reasonably suspected that she was in Versailles, "So what made you insecure about your face?"

Josh took the Coke on the coffee table, opened the pull ring, and said nonchalantly: "Hmm, my fiancée seems to have a bit of a face control."

Her fiancée! ?

Harper found it hard to believe that these words came out of Josh's mouth suddenly.

And she just forced herself to praise her face.

Harper was very curious about the background of this "fiancée" who could make her do such a thing. She could make a person like her, who had been single for half her life, bloom in an instant, and bloom so dmn fast!

There are so many handsome men and beautiful women out there, why did she only fall for the one her family had picked out for her? A few hours ago, she thought she was being forced into it, but it seems like she was the one who took advantage of it.

"So whose family is your fiancée from?" Harper really couldn't guess who the other person was, and he regretted not going up to take a look at her when he was in the hotel.

Josh leaned sideways on the sofa, propped up his head with his elbows on the sofa, and introduced Harper with a smile: "He is your niece's college classmate."

Harper sat up straight and looked at her in disbelief: "No way, you even know this?"

Josh nodded slowly: "I understand a little bit."

Josh reminded again: "The last name is Leng."

Harper's niece is actually only one year younger than her, and they are just of different generations.

After a moment's thought, she roughly knew who it was. It was her niece's classmate, whose last name was Leng. Wasn't this the classmate her niece always talked about when she came home?

"So it's Olivia?" Harper suddenly exclaimed, "Then we have met before!"

When they were traveling abroad before, it was her niece, Olivia, and their other classmates who went there together. They happened to be nearby, so they did meet and even had dinner together.

Josh raised an eyebrow: "You have a good memory."

Harper: "Well, no."

At the same time, Josh's cell phone rang. There was a call coming in. She freed her hand and picked up the phone. She looked at the number that had no notes. It was a local number. After thinking about it, she clicked the answer button.

She said nothing, waiting for the other party to speak first.

The cell phone was casually placed on the sofa with the speaker on. Harper lowered her head to glance at it, then looked away. She was not familiar with this number.

The strange thing is that the person on the other side seemed to be waiting for Josh to speak first, and did not say anything.

Just when Harper was getting impatient and wanted to ask who it was, the other party finally spoke.

"Hello, is this Hanhan?" An uncertain tone came into her ears. Harper listened to the voice and the address, and roughly guessed that it was her mother.

When they call, they have to confirm whether it is their daughter, so they can't just write down her name.

She made an impolite "tsk tsk" sound. Seeing that Josh didn't intend to speak, she raised her eyebrows and responded to the phone in a sarcastic tone: "Yes, it's me."

Josh pursed her lips and smiled. She let Harper chat with her mother and took a sip of the Coke. It tasted sweet and comfortable. She felt quite fond of Coke today.

After hearing Josh's response, he hurriedly said, "It's like this, you should be here today, you should find a hotel to stay for a few days, you understand what I mean, right?"

She had no idea who was responding to her.

Harper rolled his eyes rudely, "Huh? I don't understand, what do you mean?"

"Anyway, just listen to me and live outside. Don't make things difficult for everyone. You will definitely not be comfortable living here."

Harper was so angry that she laughed. Before she could refute, the other party quickly ended the topic, "That's it for now. I have something else to do. I will tell you when the marriage is confirmed."

With a beep, the phone hung up.

"Depend on!"

Harper was so angry that she wanted to throw her phone, but luckily she held back because the phone was not hers.

Josh seemed to be used to it, and his heart was calm. He took the phone nonchalantly and deleted the call records. Well... it was clean.

"You can't even tell people apart, what the hell is that? Did you communicate with your mind before?" Harper gritted his teeth, speechless.

Josh said truthfully: "I contacted him once and he sent me a text message asking me to come back."
