There was indeed a small town a little further away, and Samantha and Lu Xisel found a place to stay there.

There was a little light faintly visible in the darkness, maybe it was a swarm of fireflies. Sydney walked closer to take a look. The gleaming light was like gems, and the stars seemed to be in the Milky Way. The season is just right, and flowers of all colors are crowded together beside the house, the waterside, and the roadside.

Children were running happily, voices of laughter could be heard from far in the tavern, and some elderly people were cooling off under the trees. The surrounding fireworks made people who came out of battles feel the rain in their souls.

The breath of the world was so intoxicating, Samantha sat under the tree, holding her heavy cloak underneath. She leaned against Lucisel and looked at the stars in the sky. Her wandering heart seemed to finally have a place to rest, just like a bird without feet could finally rest.

Sydney didn't know that Lu Xisel beside her also had a similar mood to her. All the panic and confusion slowly sank at this moment, forming a solid armor to wrap up the deepest softness in my heart.
