Everyone ignored Braxton's dissuasion and blew up all the crackers in the main room from the window. Nila, who was half frightened to death, rushed out from under the verandah, barking and screaming at the moon.
"Okay, let's have a toast!" Nico picked up the can of beer.
"It feels like something is missing." Braxton looked around.
"Because the prince is not here!" the twins said in unison.
