Outside the window, the dusk is heavy. A few stars rise in the sky. A full moon like white jade hangs in the night sky. The moonlight like a silk thread pours down, illuminating the earth.
The evening breeze came in through the window and the flames danced.
Ethan Song paused for a moment as he held the pen. The ink dripped onto the snowy paper, leaving a dark mark. However, he seemed not to notice it. He put down his pen carelessly, looked at the figure on the partition, and said in a deep voice, "Come in."
The man's low but magnetic voice carried a commanding tone that was unique to a superior. Cassandra Shi instinctively felt resistance and subconsciously wanted to turn around and leave, but the lacquered food box in her hand reminded her that the food had not been delivered yet and she should not leave at this time.
Cassandra Shi pushed the door open with gritted teeth, stepped over the threshold, and stopped far away from him. He put the food box on the table, crossed his arms and saluted, and said in a clear voice: "Master, the puff pastry cherry biro you ordered."
