The capital city had never been so chaotic before. Dog demons ate people, old women demanded lives, some people saw ghosts carrying coffins on the dim streets at night, and corpses appeared on the streets from time to time in the early morning.
Sitting in a teahouse for a whole day, you can hear a lot of people bragging. Some people are afraid, some don't believe it, but at night, fewer people go out.
Although those strange things were just rumors spread after dinner, the more you hear about them, the more creepy they become.
A cold fog rose in the capital.
As the final battle drew closer, the place became calmer and less chaotic, and there were fewer bodies on the streets in the early morning. But the atmosphere was still not relaxed at all, and a faint sense of oppression permeated the air, and even the fog seemed to give people pressure.
