A Taoist priest from Huayang School looked to be in his forties. His ancestor was the local City God. They were a family inheritance through blood. Occasionally, the City God would help future generations. Today, he was the only one wearing a Taoist robe.
Zhang Hezheng looked serious. His sword-like brows were furrowed as he stood in front of the fasting ceremony, holding a Ruyi in his hand and muttering something. Jiang Qi'an could only make out that his lips were saying
"The Supreme Star is always responsive to changes. The City God of this county is an upright god who controls the underworld and commands the ghost soldiers. I am now pious and ask you to come down to answer my questions and explain everything."
Zhai Weiran gave him a gentle explanation
"This fellow Taoist is doing a pure vegetarian meal."
