There are many fast food restaurants near the Third Municipal Hospital, but only one cafe suitable for conversation.
It was windy outside. The man straightened his clothes when he entered the store. He looked up and noticed that Ethan Cheng was wearing an old cotton-padded jacket that had been washed so much that it looked bleached. He said, "Why aren't you wearing the clothes I bought you last year? Dad will buy you new ones when they become worn out."
Ethan Cheng didn't answer, but found an empty seat and sat down: "If you have anything to say, please say it quickly. I'm going back soon."
Faced with his impolite attitude, the man did not look embarrassed. He called the waiter over to order coffee and said slowly in a negotiating tone: "I heard from your mother that you don't like sweet food? I don't like it either, so forget about the dessert."
Ever since they met, the man's words were too intimate for Ethan Cheng, but his attitude was so natural that there was nothing wrong with it, so Ethan Cheng had to respond with silence.
