When they got downstairs, Max Ye followed Ethan Cheng closely. Even when the car was parked at the door, he did not dare to move rashly. He waited for Ethan Cheng to call him to get in the car before he moved over. He also closed the car door very carefully, which was completely different from the fierce look he had in the box just now.
"Where are you going?" Ethan Cheng asked as he started the car.
Night fell and it was still raining outside. When Max Ye arrived in the afternoon, he had no intention of returning to the crew that day. He planned to rent a room in the city for one night and go back tomorrow morning when the weather cleared up.
He clasped his hands together, as if trying to preserve the warmth that did not belong to him. He was also afraid that Ethan Cheng would get impatient, so he thought quickly and said, "Just find a hotel to drop me off."
So Ethan Cheng took him to the Garden Hotel not far from the club.
