"How big a house did Brother Fu buy?" Max asked enviously, "There are several very good properties recently. Which one did you buy?"
Lucas told Max the name, and Max was almost certain that Brother Fu must have gone out to resell medicinal materials or take private jobs, otherwise how could he have the money to buy a house in that community. The management office did not explicitly prohibit everyone from taking private jobs, but in order to create the impression of loving their jobs and being dedicated, even if everyone occasionally helped people with feng shui and fortune-telling in private, they would not bring it up in public. Max was afraid of causing trouble for Lucas, so he immediately changed the subject to stop everyone from paying attention to this matter.
Fortunately, the colleagues in this office are all close to Lucas, so after exchanging glances, no one mentioned this matter again.
"Brother Fu, do you think there is something wrong with this haunted house incident?" Chu Yu noticed the haunted house photo in Lucas's hand, "Is there really a ghost?"
"I don't know if there are ghosts or not. You can't tell anything from the photos alone." Lucas shook his head. "It's just that the supernatural phenomena inside are different from other traditional haunted houses."
