The three major awards for Chinese TV dramas are the Feitian Award, the Golden Eagle Award, and the Magnolia Award.
All three have undergone restructuring in the past two years.
In 2004, the Golden Eagle Awards was changed to be held every two years, and since 2006, it has been held in even-numbered years.
In 2005, the Feitian Award was changed to be held every two years, and from 2007 onwards, it has been held in odd years.
The Magnolia Awards are still held once a year, but they are more international, with most of the winners going to foreign dramas.
