The ratings in Hong Kong were rather dismal, as it seemed that local audiences were not interested in this type of drama. Even "Meteor Garden" was only ranked 25th of the year. However, the ratings in Formosa Province were very good. Although it was not as sweet or abusive as idol dramas, the presence of the popular king Ethan Chase attracted many viewers.
Combined with the sale of the fourth round of broadcasting rights in mainland China, the drama has already brought in more than 7 million in revenue.
As a low-budget TV series, it is considered a big profit.
