After Ethan Chase combined the last two parts of the trilogy, "Three Kingdoms: The Rebellion in Chang'an" and "Three Kingdoms: The Fall of Sky", the workload increased exponentially.
Originally, the time required for shooting a single film was 4 to 6 months. It is generally understood that the time required after the merger will become 8 to 12 months. In fact, this is not the case. The purpose of combining the films together is to save time, effort and money, so the time required must be compressed. It is estimated that all filming will be completed in 6 to 8 months.
Since the start of filming, Ethan Chase, Xu Ke, Jiang Wen and Ning Hao have been leading a team respectively. Ethan Chase is responsible for the war scenes, Xu Ke is responsible for the action scenes, Jiang Wen is responsible for the literary scenes, and Ning Hao is responsible for the location scenes. They are shooting at the same time and have to work overtime every day to catch up with the progress.
