After dinner was ready and brought into the greenhouse, Riley sat on the bare kang and just wanted to sigh. Why was life getting more and more miserable? All his belongings were gone, and how was he going to sleep at night?
Jasper told her not to worry, and that he would use the rabbit fur to make a mattress and a blanket to use for the night. They would solve the problem of fluffing the cotton tomorrow.
The two of them ate quickly, and then worked together to move boxes and cabinets in the storage room, and finally found the box containing fur, cotton, and ramie.
After the boxes were moved out, Riley squatted in front of them and searched through them. The rabbit fur was definitely enough to make two mattresses, but the cotton was definitely not enough to make a quilt. Jasper had indeed grown a lot of cotton before, and later made cotton clothes from it. He was going to take it out bit by bit to exchange for supplies.
Riley thought that the business had already started, but when he turned it over, he found that there were still dozens of cotton clothes in the box.
