The first problem that arose when the temperature dropped was that the water filter on the bow was frozen. Jasper tried to take the ice out of the plastic bucket filled with fresh water but found it difficult because it was completely frozen.

Not giving up, I replaced the plastic bucket with a new one and added seawater. After a while, both plastic buckets were frozen. It seems that the fully automatic filter cannot be used in winter.

In order to ensure daily water supply, Jasper took out the simple water filter that he had put away before, so that at least there would be no water shortage.

After harvesting the crops in the pots in the morning, he was more thoughtful and planted a seed, with the purpose of trying whether the plants could still grow in winter.

The animals in the livestock area suffered, especially the 14 new-born rabbits, who had no fur to keep them warm and were shivering in their nest. If they got any colder, they would probably die.
