Jasper approached the person in the bathtub and tapped the man's shoulder with the machete in his hand. Hearing the rumbling sound in his throat, he knew that he probably hadn't had water for a long time, so he took out some water from his wrist bag and wanted to feed him.
As soon as Riley stretched out his hand, he put it under the man's feet, wanting to drink it himself. It was hard not to suspect that he had some disease. What if he suddenly took a sip?
Jasper pulled out the cork, poured the water into the end of the bathtub, stood up and took two steps back. Then the person in the bathtub started to move. He struggled to sit up and reach the glass bottle at his feet. It was unknown how long he had been thirsty, but he gulped down the whole bottle.
"Yes, is there any food?" the person in the bathtub asked, panting, after drinking the water.
The roujiamo they prepared were all placed in Riley's wrist bag. Jasper's bag only had some sweet potatoes just in case. He took a piece and handed it to Riley. Riley began to gobble it up without even peeling the skin. After he finished eating, he asked Jasper for a bottle of water.
