The Queen's birthday finally arrived, and it was a carnival for the entire Loulan nation.
On the street, the vendors hawking their wares formed two endless lines from afar, and a surging crowd of people poured into the square, waiting for the queen to appear.
What followed was a ceremony that Loulan had been performing for thousands of years to pray for blessings on the earth.
In the minds of the Loulan people, everyone is a citizen of the earth, and every queen will hold the sacred stone in her hand on her birthday, and pray for blessings from the earth for the people of the entire city.
"Is the same ceremony performed every year?"
