The fluffy ball on Belle's scarf was shaking. The cub had no idea what was behind it. It was held in Griffin's hand, and its short legs were trying hard to reach the ground.
Gar's wings spread out, covering himself and Griffin completely. But it was useless. Even though he used his wings to block the eye, its eyeball still moved in their direction. It stuck close behind Belle, observing Gar curiously.
"Eyes?" Griffin turned around, and there were only silent trees behind him.
"Huge eyes." Gar's tail burrowed into Griffin's arms. "I remember... it looks like Ankre's Spark. Is it because Belle ate too many Peeping Eyes? I've never seen such big eyes! Bigger than Ino's."
Griffin borrowed Gar's demon eyes. He looked at this eye. It could feel the gaze, and its burning pupils moved with Griffin's gaze. It was also looking at Griffin, and its eyes showed that it didn't quite understand how Gar's eyes appeared on Griffin.
