"It was a report received by the Xijiang Police Station in Chengxi District," Quentin looked at the two people in the room and introduced to Sean beside him. "At about 8 o'clock yesterday morning, these people went to the Xijiang Police Station to report that a colleague named Feng Deyun from their unit had been missing since he left the morning before yesterday. This morning, the Xijiang Police Station received the photos we sent to seek information about the deceased, and found that they looked very similar to the missing persons in the report they received, so they contacted the reporter, and only contacted us after preliminary confirmation."
While Quentin was talking, the two people in the room had already started the process of identifying the body. Ryan led the man to the morgue, while the woman, probably because of fear, did not move her feet and still stood there huddled, but her eyes followed the two men's movements.
Ryan walked to the corpse, glanced at the man, and then lifted the white sheet covering the corpse. The woman subconsciously opened her eyes wide, and then immediately turned her head. At just one glance, she recognized the man's face.
The man's face was also a little pale. He looked at the corpse on the table and nodded slowly and heavily.
Seeing this, Quentin nodded as expected.
