It was not as easy for Felix to meet Tan Shun this time as it was to meet Feng Youde yesterday. According to the warden, Tan Shun was being held in solitary confinement because of a fight with a cellmate in prison. Felix repeatedly said that the case was urgent and that he had to meet Tan Shun today, which earned the warden's nod of agreement. The moment he saw Tan Shun, Felix's heart sank - Tan Shun's face was covered in bruises, and one of his eyes could hardly open due to swollen eyelids. He walked with a limp, and his right elbow was severely swollen. The guard who brought him here saw Felix's surprised expression, and explained with a smirk, "He was beaten by the prisoners. I don't know how this kid provoked those troublemakers in the prison, and he had a fight with them two days ago. He was already like this when we got there." At this point, he sneered disdainfully, "He has to succeed even though he doesn't have the ability."
Felix nodded in agreement. He watched Tan Shun sit down awkwardly, then looked at the supervisor beside him: "Then shall I start?"
The supervisor was stunned for a moment before realizing that Felix was ordering him to leave, so he nodded: "Okay, go ahead and ask. I'll go out first." Then he left the room.
The door was closed, and only Felix and Tan Shun were left in the room.
Felix looked at Tan Shun and didn't say anything for a while. Tan Shun sat there with his head down, neither speaking nor looking up at the person opposite him.
