Who said sea monsters are violent and fierce? Now the tone is shaking---
People often describe the sea as boundless, the depths of the ocean are full of life, noisy and bustling, gorgeous and cruel. Benjamin has seen all of this, but the scene before him still made him stunned.
The ocean is not a synonym for material abundance. In the middle of the ocean, there are often hundreds or thousands of kilometers of empty waters with only the opaque blue ocean. Looking down, it is pitch black, and looking up, there is only the middle layer of sea water without any ripples, no reefs, no corals, and no fish.
It was as if the whole world was emptied out and everything seemed vast and distant.
In such sea water, it was difficult for Benjamin not to get close to the Siren, because this emptiness did not give a sense of security, but was so cold that it seemed as if a monster would rush out at any time. The deep and sticky blue made the waves that rose up when swimming past so dead silent and cold, with no signs of life at all.
