He suddenly became excited, and two policemen quickly stepped forward to calm him down. His eyes turned red with anger, and murderous intent spread throughout the room.

When he calmed down, the police resumed questioning: "But this is not a reason for you to commit a crime."

The policeman's tone softened a little, perhaps out of pity. No one would be able to accept that their daughter, whom they had raised to such an age, was hacked to death.

"Hehe, my daughter is my life. I will fight to the death with anyone who touches her. I shouldn't have agreed to let her study medicine..." Benedict Zhou's voice was trembling when he said the last few words, and then he burst into tears. If he hadn't let his daughter study medicine, none of this would have happened.

But it was too late to say anything now. Benedict Zhou wiped away tears with his shackled hands. All he could think of was his daughter growing up. He would never forget it, never.

Such a good child... was hacked to death... Benedict Zhou's crying voice rang out in the interrogation room, and Arthur Xu also shed silent tears through the glass.

The police also learned that Dr. Eloise Zhou had a very good reputation and many patients trusted her. The stabbing incident was caused by the patient's family believing that the doctor looked down on them by prescribing cheap medicine. However, they learned from other doctors that the patient's family had complained that the medicine prescribed by the doctor was too expensive, but they did not expect a stabbing incident to happen.

After learning the whole story, the police also felt sorry that an excellent doctor had passed away.

"It is better to let a bunch of ungrateful B!tches die than to save them. They deserve to die. I say that all children should not study medicine. Let those ungrateful people die in pain. Let them suffer from illness all the time. When they need doctors, they say they are their saviors. When they recover, they point fingers at their noses and scold them. Doctors cannot resist but have to explain to them with a smile. They are all born by their parents, so why should they suffer such grievances!"

Benedict Zhou slammed the table desperately, his anger and sadness intertwined together, he really didn't know how to vent except shouting. After calming down, Benedict Zhou began to cry loudly, and his voice spread in the interrogation room. He grabbed his hair tightly. He wanted to accompany his daughter for many midnights, but when he thought that the people who hurt his daughter were still at large, he was unwilling to give up and made up his mind to let them be buried together.

Zhou Arthur Xu held the glass with his tears soaking his sleeves. Benedict Zhou was really too confused. Arthur Xu's body was shaking slightly because of crying. The man in his fifties was crying inconsolably.

When Benedict Zhou came out of the interrogation room, he looked at Arthur Xu with his eyes full of guilt. He had never thought of using this method, but they were really too smart. They believed it only after Benedict Zhou used the Ri'antang sign. Now that they are all in the ICU, his wish has been fulfilled.

"Xu, I'm sorry, but I have to do this. I'm sorry."

Benedict Zhou knelt on the ground, his body trembling slightly. He did not want to pull Ri'antang in. The day Eloise Zhou had the accident was his 50th birthday. He would never forget that his daughter was lying in the emergency room and told him in lip language that he must live well.

But without her, Benedict Zhou's world completely collapsed. His beloved daughter left him forever on his 50th birthday.

Benedict Zhou cried inconsolably, feeling guilty and missing his daughter.

Arthur Xu came out of the police station and sat in the car for a long time, the bright headlights shining on his gray face.

He never put down the cigarette, smoking one after another. Looking at the silent parking lot, Arthur Xu looked at the majestic building with trembling eyes.

Arthur Xu's hands were shaking as he gripped the steering wheel, and he even had no strength to step on the accelerator. He leaned against the steering wheel and the feeling of powerlessness enveloped him. He did not expect it to be like this. If it had been just like this, he would rather not know it for the rest of his life. Arthur Xu looked up at the night outside the window, his eyes were dim and no light could be seen.

He didn’t know how he came back in the end, he only knew that he went home, his good brother...

Arthur Xu couldn't help but have tears in his eyes. Now he only had Gabriel Xu, whom he loved very much. If his child was bullied, he would not hesitate to do it.

He looked at the photo of them taken many years ago in his hand. They had been too busy in these years to take a photo together. The photo in his hand was taken when they were playing basketball at school.

Knock knock knock, there was a knock on the door. Arthur Xu wiped away his tears but his red eyes would betray him.

"Please come in!" Arthur Xu put away his choking expression. Dominic Fu pushed the door open and looked at Arthur Xu's deliberate concealment. Dominic Fu lowered his eyes and pretended not to see it.

"God of the Underworld!" Arthur Xu stood up and bowed, and Dominic Fu raised his hand to signal him not to be so reserved.

Arthur Xu looked at Dominic Fu's eyes, and he also wanted to ask if he would know if he asked.

"A person's fate is determined by heaven and cannot be changed by human effort." In the silent night, Dominic Fu's voice was not loud but was reminding Arthur Xu. Arthur Xu's eyes instantly became lonely.

"He is just too stupid." Arthur Xu still couldn't accept such a result, and there was still lingering regret and heartache in his eyes.

Dominic Fu looked at him expressionlessly, many years had passed, and he seemed to have forgotten what it felt like to be in love. He slowly raised his hand and touched his heart. That feeling was slowly drowned in the long river of time. Seeing Arthur Xu's sadness, he really couldn't empathize with him.

"If you stand in his perspective, he won't regret it. He has only one daughter who was raised in the palm of his hand. However, a large part of you humans now take the efforts of doctors for granted and beat or scold them. They just think they are easy to bully because of the clothes they wear. Even if they are beaten or scolded, they can't do anything about it." The look in Dominic Fu's eyes trembled. After thousands of years of changes, people should keep etiquette and integrity in mind, but he saw too many things that he couldn't accept.

In the era he lived in, everyone treated each other with respect and had their own considerations before doing things and speaking. Now, he often really doesn't understand what is going on. The world is not as good as he imagined.

He sighed softly. Is this possible with the rapid development of the times? Dominic Fu's eyes were full of confusion. He had seen many doctors...

"Doctors have a kind heart. They are born for all things in the world and enter the world to see all things prosper. They must be true to their conscience and do what they preach. Everyone is different. We are not the creator, so how can we make everyone become the way we imagine?" Arthur Xu sighed and looked up at the night sky.
