It took the group two hours to get back to the palace. Charles Chu took Liam Wei back to Bitao Garden. The palace servants packed the luggage for the trip and there was another flurry of activity.
Charles Chu ordered his men to pack up, and he and Liam Wei went to the bedroom to rest. The palace servants came in and took off their outer robes, and changed them into casual clothes. Charles Chu changed into a loose silk and cotton shirt with the belt tied loosely, and he felt much more comfortable immediately.
Liam Wei packed his things from Charles Chu's box and piled them into a small pile, still thinking about Liaoliang in his heart. Charles Chu felt amused and rubbed his neck which was sore from riding the carriage. He walked over and hugged Liam Wei from behind, and said lazily: "Are you drawing in the carriage today?"
Liam Wei was stunned for a moment, then quickly took it out and gave it to Charles Chu. The two of them had discussed this map for half a day in the carriage today. Charles Chu modified a few small details based on Liam Wei's army formation. The two of them had already planned a thorough suppression during their chat. Charles Chu took the map and took a look at it, then turned around, opened the incense burner, and threw the map in.
"Your Highness..." Liam Wei looked at Charles Chu in confusion. What was he doing?
