In the Wei Mansion, Old Madam Wei and Madam Jiang embraced Wei Zhan and Liam Wei and cried for a long time. Liam Wei's aunts consoled them for half a day before they felt better. Liam Wei helped Old Madam Wei sit down and said with a smile: "Nothing was hurt at all. Grandmother always likes to listen to those rumors spread outside."
"How come you're not injured?" Old Madam Wei wiped her tears and pounded Liam Wei on the back, anxiously, "Does it have to be a missing arm or a missing leg to be considered an injury? You two little B@st@ards went to the battlefield together, if anything happened wouldn't it cost me my life..." The old lady started crying again as she spoke, and everyone hurried to comfort her.
After finally coaxing the old lady, Liam Wei turned around and held Madam Jiang's hand and whispered, "Madam, are you okay these days? I asked Your Highness to send a letter to my family saying that you are safe. Did you see it?"
Madam Jiang pressed her handkerchief to her eyes and nodded, "I saw it. When I miss you guys, I ask the maid to read those letters to me. That makes me feel better."
Liam Wei comforted her repeatedly: "It's all our fault. We made mother worry."
