During the dinner, everyone was talking and laughing happily, and most of the topics were centered around Director Chen and Lucas Cen. Lian Jiao sat next to Lucas Cen, and the latter didn't even look at him for half of the meal. He drank a little and finally couldn't hold back, so he gently moved his right calf and leaned towards the edge of Lucas Cen's suit pants.
When his knee just touched the other's knee, Ceng Ge's voice paused and his face turned slightly cold. He lowered his hand, pinched Lian Jiao's knee, and tapped it in a warning tone.
Ethan Jiang sat opposite him. At first glance, he seemed to be absorbed in eating and oblivious to what was happening around him, but his eyes slowly swept across the table many times. He noticed the changes in Lucas Cen's face and Lian Jiao's expression, and was a little cautious. While bending down to pick up the chopsticks under the table, he glanced under the table.
A lot of things were immediately apparent at a glance. Ethan Jiang calmly moved forward, stretched his right leg to the empty space beside Lucas Cen's legs, and quietly stood between Lucas Cen and Lian Jiao.
After a while, Lian Jiao looked down at the phone on the table, and as if still unwilling to give up, he tilted his right leg again. Unexpectedly, this time he easily rubbed against Lucas Cen's trouser leg. The latter seemed a little surprised, first stiffened slightly, and then gently nudged in his direction, as if suggesting that he should get closer.
