Ethan Jiang never expected that there were even crazier things to come regarding the young master of the Song family.
In the evening, Qin and his group held an open-air barbecue party in the villa. Before Ethan Jiang went abroad, he was spoiled by his father and almost caught up with those young masters who never touched the water. He didn't know how to do housework. Every day after school, he just had to lie down and wait for food and drink.
Unexpectedly, within half a year of going abroad, I started to sleep with a poor student working in a bar. Then I moved into the small apartment he rented near the school and started to learn how to do housework. He also taught me how to make barbecue by myself.
Ethan Jiang stood by the grill with his sleeves rolled up, turning over the chicken wings and legs on the grill, and sprinkled them with chopped green onions and seasoning powder. Ryan Qin reached over and picked up a bunch of chicken wings, put it in his mouth and took a bite, raised his eyebrows and sighed: "I have known you for more than 20 years, and I didn't know you could grill this."
"There are so many things you don't know." Ethan Jiang raised his eyelids lazily, "How does it taste?"
Nathan Qin said: "Not bad."
Ethan Jiang glanced at him, "Just okay?"
Nathan Qin raised his chin and lightly nodded at the person opposite him, "Compared to him, it's still a little bit behind."
Ethan Jiang turned her head and followed his gaze. Lucas Cen took off his coat and wore a black low-necked shirt. His sleeves were casually rolled up, revealing two strong and slender arms. He stood by the fire with his eyes downcast, roasting a whole lamb. The swaying orange flames made his eyebrows and eyes look handsome.
Bryce Song leaned close to Lucas Cen and squinted his eyes and ordered: "As usual, I want to eat the first leg of lamb."
Ethan Jiang retracted his gaze and happened to hear Derek Yu asking someone to get some wine. Ethan Jiang wanted to see what kind of wine was in the wine cellar, so he raised his foot to call the man and followed him. When the two were halfway there, they were stopped by someone.
Bryce Song, who had quickly caught up, glanced at Ethan Jiang, and seemed to be in a very good mood. His tone became inexplicably intimate: "Niao Niao, you go back and eat. I'll just follow him."
Ethan Jiang nodded, but didn't take it too seriously. He turned around, put his hands in his pockets, walked back a few steps, and then squinted his eyes. What good stuff was there in the wine cellar that made Bryce Song not even eat the roasted lamb leg that Lucas Cen had prepared, and he had to go get it himself. He stopped and chased after the two figures at the end of his sight.
He followed slowly, and only tried to walk in after watching the two men enter the wine cellar for a while. However, he ran into the employee who came out pushing the red wine, followed by the person who kept the keys.
Ethan Jiang asked him, "Where is Young Master Song?"
The other party recognized him and explained, "Mr. Song is picking out wine glasses inside, so we should all come out and wait."
Ethan Jiang said "oh" and walked in slowly with his hands in his pockets. He saw Bryce Song standing by the bar, raising his hand to pour a transparent liquid into the goblet. When his hand dropped again, the water level in the small bottle had dropped by half.
Ethan Jiang said doubtfully: "Mr. Song."
Bryce Song's body stiffened slightly, but when he turned around and saw his face, he was obviously relieved.
Ethan Jiang walked forward and asked in a surprised tone, "Mr. Song, what are you holding in your hand?"
Bryce Song slowly tightened the lid and put away the things he had taken. He then placed one hand on the bar and looked at him with a pair of dazzled eyes. "Ethan Jiang, let me be honest with you. Although Mr. Yu wants to introduce you to me, you are really not my type. Let's just call it a day."
Ethan Jiang responded calmly: "Okay."
Bryce Song smiled, "What I poured is not poison, just some stimulant. I won't hide it from you, this is for Lucas Cen to drink." He paused slightly and looked Ethan Jiang up and down, "Xiao Jiang, you just returned to China, you haven't found a job yet, right?"
As if he didn't understand the other party's intention, Ethan Jiang's face showed a little confusion, "Not yet."
"It's not uncommon to return from overseas study nowadays. In such a big city, if you want to find a good job, no matter how high your education is, it can't compare to family background." Bryce Song tapped the table with his fingers and said casually, "If you can keep your mouth shut about what happened just now, I can promise you a mid-level position in the Song Group."
Ethan Jiang was stunned for a second, then raised the corner of his lips and said, "Then I have to thank Mr. Song."
"Then," Bryce Song raised his hand and pushed the goblet towards him, "to show your sincerity, in twenty minutes, I want to see you personally hand this glass of wine to Lucas Cen and let him drink it."
