"Actually, he helped you contact the school." Damon Luo added. He felt a little dry and blocked while speaking, so he picked up the wine glass and took a sip.
"Okay." Nathan Su said, with his head lowered. Damon Luo could only see the loose hair on his forehead, thick eyelashes, and the round curve of his face through the flickering candlelight.
Then he saw a drop of water falling into Nathan Su's plate. It was Nathan Su crying.
Damon Luo raised his hand and pinched Nathan Su's jaw, trying to lift his face up, but Nathan Su pushed him away. Damon Luo stood up, walked to Nathan Su, squatted down, and asked him: "Why are you crying?"
Nathan Su shook his head and covered his face with his hands so that Damon Luo wouldn't see him. However, his breath was filled with moisture and his lips were tightly pursed. Tears flowed from the gaps between his palms and face, dripping onto the dark red napkin on his legs.
