Zhuo Lien recounted what he knew about the old story of King Liang as if recalling a memory:
One hundred years after Dayao founded the country, the fifth emperor has been in power. After the founding emperor established his rule, he named one of his sons the King of Liang and ordered him to guard Liangzhou for generations.
However, after the second emperor ascended the throne, he saw that the princes and nobles in various states were too powerful and even disobeyed the king's orders, so he began to reduce the power of the princes.
The first to bear the brunt of the attack was his brother, Prince Liang, because Liangzhou was the largest territory and the emperor was far away, so he was the most disrespectful to the emperor's orders.
