When Ning Wangshu looked at Adler, his whole body was actually stiff, ready to run away at any time. But the other party carefully avoided him, just picked up the palette and brush beside him, and then turned around to paint, without any other movements. Ning Wangshu quietly breathed a sigh of relief, walked step by step to Adler's side, tilted his head, and looked at the drawing board with sparkling eyes.

Adler could no longer see the little thing at his feet. He completely inherited Wei Xiyan's enthusiasm for painting, and he kept applying paint with the brush in his hand.

Wei Xiyan is good at the modern direct painting method, that is, drawing the outline directly on the canvas and then slowly adding color. But what Adler is good at is the older transparent painting method, which uses pigments that do not add white but are simply diluted with mixing oil to create multi-layered depictions. The next layer of color must be applied after each layer is dry. It can be said that he has completed the entire painting in his mind before putting pen to paper.

Because the color of each layer is thinner, the color of the lower layer can be faintly revealed, forming a subtle change of tone with the color of the upper layer. Therefore, this painting method requires more advanced skills and more precise control and judgment of color harmony.

Wei Xiyan's painting uses a large area of warm tones, which are already dry. Adler added blue, purple, and green to the painting to gradually turn the warm tones into cold tones. Finally, he used resin varnish to glaze it. Dyeing makes it appear layers of gray.
